The Team

Brittany is a dental hygienist who graduated from the Canadian College of Dental Health.  She started her career as a dental assistant before going back for hygiene.  She is excited for her new career and looks forward to learning from the other hygienists.

Cami is a certified Level II dental assistant.  She is past president of the Brant Affiliate of the ODAA.  Cami recently celebrated 25 years of dedicated service at West Street Dental Group.

Carmelo is a Denturist.  He specializes in the design, fabrication and insertions of dentures. He graduated in 2003 and has worked with several dentists in Toronto and has spent time working with many experienced denturists in Oakville, Orangeville and Stoney Creek.  Born and raised in Toronto, Carmelo has recently moved to Hamilton where he owns his own denture clinic and lives with his wife.  In his spare time, Carmelo enjoys traveling, watching sports and spending time with family and friends .

Chris adds to the years of dentistry at West Street Dental Group.  She helps out with some of the billing and business aspects of the office.  She had the excitement of adding a grandson Quentin to her already fun family.  Her daughter Erica and son-in-law Peter live in Toronto with Quentin and her son Kellin also works and resides in Toronto.  Chris enjoys traveling to see new places with her retired husband Ross.  They also like making quick trips to TO so they can spoil Quentin.  You can find Chris and Thursday night enjoying her girlfriends’ longtime friendships

Christie has enjoyed working the office as a hygienist for the past 10 years.  She graduated from Algonquin College.  She works with Dr Ling on his ortho patients as well as check up and cleanings.  She enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.  She also enjoys keeping fit at the gym.

Denise graduated in 1982 from Career Canada College in Hamilton.  She has been with West Street Dental Group for 19 years.  She enjoys cooking, vacations, and time with family and friends.

Dianne is a registered dental hygienist who has been a member of West Street Dental Group since graduating from Canadore College in 1991.  Dianne and her husband Tom were tickled pink to welcome their most recent grandchild Claire, born on Thanksgiving.  What a blessing!  Dianne and Tom are enjoying their playful new puppy (fur-baby), a black and tan Lakeland Terrier named Rosie.

Erin graduated from the Canadian Institute of Dental Hygiene in November 2004 and has been working here since.  Before this she worked at West Street Dental as an assistant and booking dental appointments over the phone.  Currently she lives in Burford on a farm and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband Levi.

Eva graduated from Career Canada College in 1985.  She has been with West Street Dental for 9 years.  She spends a lot of time at arenas watching her son play hockey, and also enjoys swimming and gardening.

Glenna has been in the dental field for 25 years and has been the hygiene co-ordinator for 4 years.  She presently lives in Brantford with her husband and 2 cats.  Glenna enjoys reading, baking, and long walks with her husband.

Heidi is one of our patient co-ordinators.  She has been working in the dental field for 10 years where she began as a dental assistant.  She is a recent addition to our team, as is the department she works in. Heidi can assist you in making decisions with your dental treatment and financial arrangements.  In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer and spending time with friends and family.

Jean is the Business Administrator at West Street Dental Group. She graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario, and as a Registered Medical Technologist in Toronto.   Jean is a member of Brantford's University Women's Club and is the Coordinator for the "Creative Cookery" interest group. She enjoys spending time with her first granddaughter, Avery.

Jo-Anne is one of our Business Administrators and has been in dentistry for 25 years.  In her spare time she enjoys quilting, golf, cooking, and traveling, but her biggest joy is spending time with her three grandchildren.  She looks forward to the addition of another grandson this spring.

Lauren is a recent graduate of the Level II Dental Assisting program and has just started her first year with West Street Dental Group.  She enjoys riding horses, photography, and spending time with family and friends.

Lia graduated from George Brown College i 1989 and has been at West Street Dental Group for 18 years.  She really enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren (almost 4), traveling, and golfing (beginner).

Lynne has proudly been a part of the dental team since 1976.  She has been married to Tony for over 28 years with two wonderful children.  A.J. graduated from Brock University and still resides in St. Catharines.  He is engaged to be married to a wonderful girl, Allison.  Jacklyn is in her final year at Nipissing/Laurier University here in Brantford in the Concurrent Education Program and hopes to be teaching elementary school by the fall.

Melanie has been working at West Street Dental since 2001 after she gradated from Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and beautiful daughter.  She also likes baking, going for walks, and trying new recipes for her husband!

Melissa is the wife of Dr. Ferrao.  Although life with their little girl Gabriella is a busy and fulfilling one, Melissa has recently joined our team of Business Administrators helping Jean out with some of the office duties. 

Nicole is one of our Patient Coordinators.  She attended Maxwell College and obtained her Dental Hygiene diploma and is currently registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario.  She is married to Brent and they share three wonderful children: Luke, Avery and Mila.  Nick enjoys spending time with her family, playing golf in the summer, and traveling.

Penny graduated in 1985 as a Level II Dental Assistant.  She has been with us for 23 years.  In her spare time she enjoys golfing, traveling, curling, and spending time with family and friends.

Sandy has been with West Street Dental for 12 years, having graduated as a certified dental assistant.  She is one of the smiling faces you see at the front desk with our business team.  She enjoys camping, biking, and hiking with her family and friends.  Playing “Scene It” when her children are home from college (Derek, Kurt, and Cassandra) and motorcycle trips with her husband Ron are top on the list as well.

Sandy graduated from Career Canada College in 1990 as a Level I Dental Assistant.  She has been with West Street Dental Group for 15 years.  In her spare time she enjoys watching her son play hockey, traveling, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends.

Stacey has been in the dental field for the past 4 years, graduating with honours for Dental Assisting Levels I & II.  Soon to be off on maternity leave, she and husband Craig are expecting their first, a little girl.  When she returns you will see her at the front desk where she will be greeting you with a smile as you arrive for your appointment.

Trina graduated from Niagara College and worked as an assistant in Brantford for three years before graduating at Canadore College from the Dental Hygiene program.  She lives in Scotland with her husband and two young children.

Ursula is a dental hygiene graduate of Fanshawe College.  She has been perfecting her skills as a hygienist at West Street Dental for the past 28 years.  In her spare time she likes to dabble in pottery and jewelry making.  She also enjoys camping, biking, skiing, and traveling with family and friends.
